John and I first met at a Christian Convention in Cornwall in 1981. Not only was it a time when God met with us both in a mighty way, it was the beginning of much more. Over the following years we spent time in prayer together both in person and over the phone, as well as time spent visiting the Yorkshire and Worcestershire countryside. A number of times John had the discernment to appreciate things relevant to me before I did and I thank God for sending such a man acrooss my path. I feel really blessed to have known John for over 40 years.
